You need an Epic Games account to play titles like Fortnite, Rocket League, and Fall Guys. You can create one easily using your email address or an existing social media account.
You should use this method if you want a standalone account not tied to other platforms.
Go to epicgames.com in your web browser.
Click Sign In in the top right corner.
Select Sign Up at the bottom of the screen (next to “Don’t have an Epic Games account?”).
Click Sign Up With Email.
Enter your Date of Birth. You must be 13 or older to create a full account.
Fill in your Country, Name, Display Name, and Password.
Check the box to agree to the Terms of Service.
Click Continue.
You can link your new account directly to a profile you already own. This saves you from remembering a new password.
Go to the Sign Up page on the Epic Games website.
Select the icon for the account you want to use (e.g., PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Google, Apple).
Log in to that external account when the pop-up window appears.
Enter your Date of Birth if prompted.
Confirm your details to finish the setup.
You must prove you own the email address you provided.
Check your email inbox for a message from Epic Games.
Copy the 6-digit code inside the email.
Paste the code into the verification box on the Epic Games website.
Click Verify Email.
You should protect your game library immediately after signing up.
Go to your Account page.
Select Password & Security.
Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) via email, SMS, or an app.
