How to redeem an Epic Games product code

You use product codes to add games, DLC, or funds to your account. You can redeem these codes directly through the website or the desktop launcher.

You can use this method on any device, including your phone.

Go to store.epicgames.com in your browser.

Hover over your profile icon in the top right corner.

Select Redeem Code from the menu.

Enter the 20-digit code exactly as it appears.

Click Redeem.

You can activate codes directly inside the PC application if you are already at your computer.

Open the Epic Games Launcher.

Click your profile icon in the top right corner.

Select Redeem Code.

Type or paste your code into the text box.

Click Redeem.

Go to your Library to install your new game.

You must use a different page if you have a card specifically for Fortnite V-Bucks. These cards do not work on the standard redemption page.

Click Get Started.

Scratch off the security strip on the back of your card.

Enter the PIN code from the card.

Select the platform (PC, Xbox, PlayStation, etc.) where you want to receive the V-Bucks.

You should check these common issues if your code fails.

Region Locks: You cannot use a code meant for a different country.

Typos: You might confuse the number 0 (zero) with the letter O.

Already Used: You can only redeem a code once. Check your Transaction History to see if you already claimed it.
