You must verify your email address to secure your account. You cannot change your display name, enable 2FA, or play in competitive tournaments until you complete this step.
You trigger this process from your account settings if you did not verify immediately after signing up.
Go to epicgames.com/account.
Sign in to your Epic Games account.
Look for a yellow notification banner at the top of the screen.
Click the link that says “Click here to resend” inside that banner.
Wait a few minutes for the email to arrive.
You finish the process inside your email inbox.
Open the email account you used to sign up.
Find the email from Epic Games with the subject “Please Confirm Your Email Address.”
Click the Verify Your Email button inside the message.
Watch for the “Thank You” confirmation page to load in your browser.
You should try these fixes if the email does not appear.
Check Spam: Look in your Junk, Spam, or Promotions folder.
Search: Type “Epic Games” in your email search bar to find it quickly.
Check Spelling: Verify that the email address listed in your Account Settings is correct. If you made a typo, you can edit it right there and send a new verification to the correct address.
Wait: Email delivery sometimes takes up to 15 minutes during busy times.
