You connect your Xbox, PlayStation, or Nintendo Switch to your Epic Games account to sync your progress, skins, and purchases across all devices. You must use a web browser for this process.
You need your login details for both your Epic Games account and your console account before you start.
Open a web browser on your computer or phone.
Go to epicgames.com and sign in to your Epic Games account.
Hover over your display name in the top right corner.
Click Account.
Select Apps and Accounts from the left-hand menu.
Click the Accounts tab at the top of the list.
Click Connect under the console you want to link (e.g., Xbox, PlayStation Network, Nintendo Account).
Click Link Account to confirm.
Log in to your console account when the pop-up window appears.
Click Continue to finish the process.
You might see an error saying your console is already linked to an Epic Games account. This happens because the game created a “nameless” account for you when you first played on your console without signing in. You must upgrade this nameless account to disconnect it.
Sign out of your current Epic Games account.
Click Sign In again.
Select the icon for your console (Xbox, PlayStation, or Switch) instead of typing an email.
Log in with your console credentials.
Enter details to “upgrade” this account (Name, Email, Password) when prompted.
Go to Apps and Accounts in this new account.
Click Remove or Unlink next to your console.
Sign out and log back into your main Epic Games account.
Link your console again using the steps above.
You need to follow these restrictions to avoid issues.
You can only link one account per platform (e.g., one Xbox Gamertag, one PSN ID) to your Epic Games account.
You share progress and items (like V-Bucks purchased on PC/Xbox/PlayStation) across linked platforms, but Nintendo Switch V-Bucks often stay on the Switch.
You lose access to platform-exclusive content if you unlink your account.
